HTC One UK and Europe Android update hitting phones soon

HTC One reviewEuropean HTC One owners, get ready for your Android 4.3 update – it’s on its way!

It seems that One owners in the UK and around Europe will finally get their beloved handsets updated to the latest flavour of Android, 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The folks at HTC have been rolling out Android 4.3 for the award winning HTC One in the US this month with Sprint and AT&T already sorted and T-Mobile users expecting to get it today. Verizon users, on the other hand, will get the update by the end of this month. The update has even made its way to Canada as well as the developer and international variant of the handset.

Thankfully, this recent tweet from HTC UK confirms that the HTC One Android 4.3 update will roll out here in the next “3 to 5 weeks.”

“We are expecting to release #JellyBean 4.3 update in the UK in 3–5 weeks.”

So, this means that the Euro version of the smartphone should be getting the update by mid to late-November.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean brings with it the latest HTC Sense 5.5 UI, which was released on HTC One Max. This could be the reason that HTC is taking longer to release the update for UK counterpart.
