City Living – Matroshka Style
I live in London – not in the smallest flat in the world but also not exactly the largest.
To all my friends that live in studio apartments or indeed house-shares the Matroshka living concept may be a huge boon – the ideas could also help us luckily enough to have slightly more space make better use of it.
Named after the Russian nesting dolls the Matroshka packs a whole lot into a small space.Â
You can fit an L-shaped sofa, double bed, dinner table, four stools, total seating for 12, a home office workspace, wardrobe and storage in only a 43 square foot area!!!!
This design is still in its conceptual stage at the moment but the designers are working hard to make their dream into a reality.
I hope that it makes it out into the real world - how else could you comfortably entertain 12 people in such a small space?
