Pebble Steel smart watch announced [video]
The Pebble smartwatch made ripples last year but the new Pebble Steel is destined to make more of a splash.
I reckon it’s safe to say that wearable technology is on the rise and, not too long ago, the folks at Pebble announced “something exciting is coming at CES on January 6th.”
That something exciting is the release of the Pebble Steel smartwatch. It brings the same Pebble gubbins that we are familiar with but in a more refined and premium body.
As the name suggests the new wrist tech sits in a steel case and further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass giving it a premium look compared to the earlier Pebble.
This latest offering is naturally compatible with all Pebble Apps, and is waterproof up to 5 ATM.
The Pebble Steel is shipping in two models: Brushed Stainless and Matte Black, bundled with a matching metal band and a black leather strap.
The new premium Pebble Steel comes with a $249 price tag and will begin shipping from January 28th.
The folks at Pebble are offering free shipping worldwide for early orders so, if you’re interested, head over to getpebble.com and order one for yourself.
