Samsung Galaxy S5 UK pre-order date announced – 32GB online only?

All you UK Galaxy fans will be pleased to know that the pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5 will open on March 28th according to the smartphone maker.

It will be available through Carphone Warehouse, EE, Phones 4u, Three, Virgin Media and Vodafone, as well as Samsung’s own online store and its Stratford Westfield Experience Store.

The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S5 will come in two storage options: 16GB, and 32GB. However, it appears that you will only be able to purchase the larger capacity variant online, as stores will sell only the 16GB flavour. The information comes from a leaked training document that describes the above-mentioned sales policy.

Samsung’s latest handset will hit retailer’s shelves on April 11th.

Sammy’s S5 is kitted out with a 5.1-inch, Super AMOLED Full HD screen with a quad-core Krait 2.5GHz processor backed by 2GB of RAM underneath.

The handset weighs in at 145g and measures 8.1mm thick.

The Korean manufacturer has built the Galaxy S5 with an IP67 dust and water resistance rating. So, you’ll be able to whip it out without fear of the British weather or clumsiness getting in the way.

Samsung is making four colour versions available at launch: white, blue, gold and charcoal.
