New Acer Liquid smartphone teased on Facebook

Mobile World Congress kicks off next week in Barcelona and Acer has jumped ahead with a pair of teasing shots of one the devices they’ll be bringing to the show – a new Acer Liquid smartphone.

The hinting press photographs were posted on Facebook by Acer showing of the rear of their new Acer Liquid handset and a shot, I’m guessing, showing how light their new mobile is as it floats away from the hand of its owner.

The sneaky peek was posted with the legend:

As you can see in the photo above, there appears to be a fingerprint scanner on the back of the smartphone, located below the camera.

They then followed up with this hovering phone picture.

As yet Acer have not revealed any specifications on this new Liquid smartphone, although it is expected to be packing the latest version of Android – Android 4.4 KitKat.

I’ll be keeping an eye out for more snaps and a spec list.
