Nikon D4 DSLR to be Thunderbolt Equipped

Now that Thunderbolt has been revealed along with the new MacBook Pro range eyes are now turning to Nikon’s D4.

Now the Macbook Pro comes Thunderbolt equipped it seems likely that the Nikon D4 will make good on its promise.

“Light Peak components are expected to begin to become available to customers in late 2010, and Intel expects to see Light Peak in PCs and peripherals in 2011.”

It will certainly be a huge bonus to those DSLR users that shoot stacks of HD video – hooking up your Thunderbolt-packing DSLR to your equally ported MacBook Pro would make life so much easier.
