Impressive Tesoro Lobera Supreme mechanical RGB keyboard lands in UK

tesoro lobera supremeGamers like their top notch kit – I’m just getting back in to it after almost a decade away and things have moved on. I’m not just talking about graphics cards, CPUs, RAM, cooling and audio – there has been leaps made in keyboard controllers too. I am pleased to announce that the Tesoro Lobera Supreme mechanical gaming keyboard is now available in the UK.

Input devices play a huge and important part in your gaming experience, as their performance will often determine whether you win or lose the game (that’s my excuse anyhooo).

The Tesoro Lobera Supreme features Kailh mechanical gaming grade switches available in Blue, Black, Brown, and Red.

Tesoro is made up of gaming enthusiasts based in the USA and have over 30 years of industry experience and so should know a thing or two.

Just in case you’re as intrigued by the name of this keyboard as I was, the Lobera was the famous sword of Saint Ferdinand III, aka “The Wolf Slayer”. He was known as an exemplary knight from the 13th Century. Through vigorous efforts he united the Kingdoms of Castile and Leon. The Lobera was his sword of bravery, which symbolised power, vigor and was embedded with silver ornaments.

Colours

tesoro lobera supreme coloursNow, as I’ve recently completed building my new gaming rig, and made sure I kept to a colour scheme (yeah, I told you I’m getting back in to it), the Lobera Supreme will fit right in thanks to its RGB lighting scheme. Each key is individually illuminated, and the illuminated side bar completes the look. The LED backlight features four levels of brightness, breathing mode, colour loop mode and gaming mode, where only the gaming keys are illuminated.

Macros

The Lobera Supreme allows gamers to instantly record any macros without need of software. Personalised settings are stored in the built-in-memory (512Kb) allowing the keyboard to be fully synchronised. The Lobera Supreme also features one touch / game mode button for fast switching as well as 3 thumb keys under the spacebar for instant macro launch.

N-Key Rollover

Tesoro’s Lobera Supreme features switchable USB 6 N-Key to Full N-Key Rollover function through firmware. There’s two different modes (tournament mode vs. hardcore mode), and depending what is required, users can press any and all keys at the same time without worrying that some key may not be registered.

tesoro lobera rear portsAs well as all of that, the Lobera Supreme is equipped with a pair of USB 2.0 ports together with audio and mic jacks which are located on the front of the Lobera Supreme for easy connectivity.

There’s even a DC-In jack so that you can even charge your phone or tablet via the USB ports directly from the keyboard.

The Tesoro Lobera Supreme mechanical keyboard is available for the suggested retail price of £119 at KSN, PC Nation, Eclipse Computers, CCL Online.

I hope to get some game time with this very impressive sounding and looking board so stay tuned for a full review.
