Sanyo Xacti VPC-PD2BK – Lightweight Pocket Dual HD Camera

Sanyo has just launched a new dual camera/camcorder to its range.

Say hi to the Sanyo Xacti VPC-PD2BK.

The latest Xacti has all kinds of embedded software which enables the new pocket-size dual camera to be able to shoot, connect, view and share both photos and vids on social networks such as YouTube, Facebook, and Picasa.

The PD2BK is can capture 10 megapixel stills as well as 1080p “archive quality” video. The camera also sports a 3x optical zoom and there’s a pair of mics to capture stereo sound.

The lens is a 37mm wide-angle unit and the camera sports a mini HDMI port for watching your video directly on a big screen. Power comes from a lithium-ion battery which charges via the USB port on your puter. Images and video are stored to SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards up to 64GB.

The little camera measures 2.48″ W x 0.87″ D x 4.36″ H and weighs 3.7 ounces.
