I found the PortaPros really good but, as the K450 have a closed back, I find the response a lot better than the retro Koss.

Also the ‘equality’ is much better than the current trend of favouring bass like the Beats range do.

In my opinion you’ll love the AKG450 🙂

We even listen to similar music – I need both Daft Punk and Wagner to sound good on these. But will I be disappointed comparing them to the Koss ones? Does the ‘equality, not flatness’ make them much different from PortaPros?
