Vodafone UK dishing out Moto G smartphone with Android Kit Kat

The Motorola Moto G has been available in the UK since the end of last year. Now that the handset has been plied with Android 4.4 Kit Kat Vodafone has announced that they will offer the handset very soon.

Vodafone has yet to announce any pricing details for the Moto G on their network or which contracts the handset will be available on, but it is coming. That much I do know.

The Motorola Moto G on Vodafone will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box with the handset featuring a 4.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels,

The device is powered by a quad core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, it also comes with 1GB of RAM, plus a choice of 8GB or 16GB of built in storage.

The Moto G has received praise for the amount of bang it manages to pack for very little buck.

The 5MP camera is perhaps its only weak point but with the 8GB version currently available for just £99 at Tesco and with its Kit Kat injection it is difficult to see why you’d look at any other mid-range Android.

Vodafone UK tell me that they will release pricing details when they launch the Moto G – if I get word before then, I’ll let you know 😉
