UK network Three confirms HTC One M8 name

Just as HTC tease with a new golden One Three UK slip out that the HTC One sequel will be called the HTC One M8 after all.

UK network Three has let slip the name of the new phone on its coming soon page and lists it has HTC One (M8).

The holding page for the new HTC flagship phone boldly states

“The most awarded smartphone of 2013, the HTC One, just got better,” saying that “HTC will announce their all new HTC One (M8) on the 25th March 2014. Save the date and come back to us to find out when you can get your hands on one.”

Three also tweeted the fact that it would be named the HTC One M8 (or mate as I prefer to call it) but then went back and deleted it.

The M8 name has been spinning around as a codename for quite a while now but that’s all anyone has taken it as until now.

Personally have the One Mate is slightly better than New One or One 2.

Needless to say that all will become clear on March 25th.
