LG G4 leather or diamond back smartphone

Fancy an LG G4 covered in cow? Well, according to a ‘slip’ the LG Android flagship was exposed for all to see. Thankfully Evan Blass, better known as @evleaks, shared the LG G4 news on Twitter.

Pictures of the LG G4 were snatched by Android Explained and they seem to match the one currently being used by LG on their Facebook Page, so it all looks like it’s legit.

As well as the stitched real leather covering the LG G4 it appears that the new smartphone will have a removable battery – unlike the HTC One M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6, neither of which have removable batteries and both have considerably smaller capacities (2840 and 2600 mAh, respectively). The Samsung phone also falls down as the S6 doesn’t have an SD card slot, either.

It seems that LG wants to distance itself from the brushed metal finish of the G3, and the HTC One but leather seems an odd choice to me.

Thankfully, if you’re vegetarian, vegan or just against covering things with skin, there’s a more modern diamond design in plastic for you.

This version comes in three colours: white, grey, gold.
