iPad Pro case leaked for super sized Apple tablet
Although I have said that the iPad days could be numbered, this latest spyshot of an alleged third-party iPad Pro case points to a much larger tablet being on its way from Apple.
The picture posted on French site Nowhereelse.fr shows the case of an unknown iPad but lacks any other objects near it to show the scale of the case. What I can say is that, judging by the distances between the slots, it does look to be a case for something larger than the existing 9.7-inch iPad models.
The larger iPad Pro is rumoured to be packing a screen that measures somewhere between 12.2 to 12.9-inches, which will gear itself nicely towards creative gadgety users, especially with its whispered stylus support.
In addition to the regular cutouts that you’d expect to see on an iPad case, there’s also an unknown cutout on the left hand side. Could this be for a SIM tray? If it is then we could well be looking at an iPad Pro with 4G support.
Also, there are four additional cut-outs located near the corners. This would appear to tally with earlier rumours that the iPad Pro will feature much improved sound quality through four distinct speakers. Quadrophenia anyone?
What do you reckon? Does it make sense for Apple to go Pro with a larger slate?
