Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 Out – Test Firefox on its way to 3.5
Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 has just been released to the public.
The latest version of Mozilla’s internet browser is working but not quite finished – they have chosen you to download it and test it out.
What’s new then?
Well, Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 includes faster load times, extra support for geolocation and a new addition to Private Browsing Mode in the form of a “Forget This Site†button. This means that there’ll be no trace of you checking out The Saturday’s website (or even more naughty yet less embarrassing sites!).
Mozilla is still beavering away on Firefox 3.1, and Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 won’t be the final test version which is expected sometime this year
Mozilla reckon it has quite a lot to do – they’re saying the finished full version will actually be named Firefox 3.5.
Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 is out to test on Windows, Mac and Linux now at Mozilla.
