HTC Smartphones get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update – Here’s the Lucky List
If you own a HTC Android smartphone then there’s good news! Chances are that your pocket pal will soon be getting upgraded thanks to an Android Ice Cream Sandwich Update! Is yours on the list?
I already heard that the HTC Sensation and Sensation XE are due for an Android 4.0 refresh but the Taiwanese phone cobbler has also announced which of its myriad smartphones will be treated to some ICS action.
“We’re all excited about Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, coming to HTC,” the company said in its official announcement – adding: “We’re in the early stages of rolling out Android 4.0 for the HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE and upgrades will be more widely available in the next few weeks”.
Naturally, HTC can be ready but it’s also down to which network you belong to…
“The update for the HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Sensation XL will follow. Please note, once we start pushing out updates it will take time for all carriers in each country to get the update. We are working closely with our carrier partners to nail down update schedules for our other smartphones and will have more to share very soon.”
