UK Samsung Galaxy S III Preorders Open – Where to get Your S3
Samsung’s high-profile new Android phone, the Galaxy S III, is ready to pre-order from several UK carriers. Vodafone, Three, and O2 are all taking orders for the Galaxy S III, which will be available at the end of May. Only one operator will have the 32GB version on offer for the first month.
Vodafone has unveiled its prices for the Samsung Galaxy S III and has exclusive dibs on the 32GB model for the first month.
The cheapest Voda deal for the Olympic smartphone is £26 per month, on top of which the phone costs £150 and you get a, frankly, rubbish 250MB of data.
Dig deeper to the tune of £46 per month and you’ll get a free 32GB S III with 1,200 minutes of calls and unlimited texts. The 16GB model is free if you don’t mind paying £41 per month for the next two years. That gets you 900 minutes, unlimited texts.
Both deals also include 2GB of mobile data, and 2GB of Wi-Fi in BT Openzone public hotspots.
Vodafone’s Data Test Drive policy means that if you stray and go over your data allowance at any point in the first three months you won’t be hit with a charge.
One year contracts are available, but you have to pay at least £36 per month for the privilege and the phone will set you back £220!
Music lovers should look out for some of the S III deals which also offer 100 free tracks from Vodafone Music. That’s 25 tracks to download each month for the first four months of your contract. That can’t hurt can it?
On O2, you can pay £46 a month for a free phone and 1GB of data, and Three offers unlimited data and a free phone for £34 a month.
Orange, which will also carry the Galaxy S III, says the phone is still “coming soon.”
So – are you going to Vodafone for the 32GB Samsung Galaxy S III or will you wait another month until the other carriers get it?
