Samsung Galaxy S III Release Date Leaked Ahead of MWC 2012 Unveiling [S3]
The Samsung Galaxy S III has already been seen on video and is hotly tipped to make its grand entrance at MWC 2012 but the release date for the next generation Sammy has been sneaked out.
Ready to take the baton from Samsung’s very popular Galaxy S II, the third generation of Sammy’s flagship Android smartphone is expected to be officially flaunted this month at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona.
News has come via Russian tech blogger, Eldar Murtazin, that we should expect an April release for the Galaxy S III after it has done the rounds at this year’s MWC.
Confusingly, Murtazin’s leaky tipster says that the handset will chug along on a 1.5GHz or 1.6GHz quad-core processor and not the 2Ghz dual-core engine that has previously been mentioned.
The S III will more-than-likely be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and be equipped with a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display with an eye-popping resolution of 1280 x 720p.
The Galaxy S III is said to also be packing 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage as well as a 12-megapixel camera which would undoubtedly capture 1080p Full HD video.
