HTC Vigor Phone with Beats by Dre Technology Released Soon

It was only last week when I shared the news that HTC has buddied up in a US$300 million love-in with Dr Dre’s Beats Electronics. Obviously I’d like to know more and I’m guessing you’re quite interested too. Well, the first HTC Beats handset could be a smartphone named Vigor.

Following on the success of the Beats headphones, Beats earphones and partnership with HP Dre and HTC are looking to make their audio-tech packing phones to challenge the interest being lavished on Apple’s next gen blower – the iPhone 5.

Checking out a leaked Verizon roadmap which shows potential phone release dates the first HTC Beats mobile should make an appearance on October 6th. As this is Verizon’s plan then I’d expect this to be a US release date – let’s hope it’s global eh? 😉

The HTC Vigor (could be renamed before release) is expected to pack a 4.3-inch 720p HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, Qualcomm Adreno graphics and an 8MP camera.

Naturally audio will be pumped and tweaked via Dr Dre’s audio tech whilst running on Gingerbread 2.3.4 and be equipped with the latest version of HTC’s lovely Sense user interface – v3.5.

I very much doubt that the new HTC with Beats will come bundled with the Monster Cable cobbled ear pleasers though – not at a wallet friendly price anyhow.
