Apple Confirm iPad 3 and iPhone 5 in iOS 5.1

Apple has inadvertently outed the existence of its next-generation iPad, Apple TV and iPhone devices in the beta version of iOS 5.1.

The new operating system has been released to developers ahead of its widespread rollout to iDevice owners which should happen in a few months.

The iOS 5.1 Beta has let slip the existence of Apple’s next key product developments with the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 both teased.

So, the way is being paved for the 4-inch better-than-retina-display screened iPhone 5 and the not-so-slim but very potent iPad 3 then?

Well, there is a slab of code within the iOS 5.1 Beta which references the iPhone 5,1, a device expected to land as the long awaited iPhone 5 – also in there is the expected next gen iPad thanks to the mention of iPad 3,2 and iPad 3,3 (Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi plus 3G).
