Findaproperty iPad app – The Tech Way to Find Your Dream Home

findaproperty ipad appLooking for a home can be a trying experience at best. As well as it being one life’s most stressful events if you live in East London, like me, then you have the ridiculousness of the ‘Olympic Let’ phenomenon.

At least searching for your next pad can be a little easier on your iPad now that Findaproperty.com has released an app for the Apple tablet.

Building on the success of the iPhone and Android app, once downloaded, it uses the iPad’s GPS functionality to search for nearby properties before using the tablet’s mapping smarts to navigate there.

You can narrow your search crtieria by number of bedrooms, maximum and minimum asking price and other functions you’d expect to get on a leading property search site.

Once you’ve found your potential next abode, give it a poke and enjoy a host of screen shots of the premises which can also be added to your list of favourites to share later.

When you’re ready to make the next step, you can contact the relevant estate agent directly – for a moment there I thought I might not have to contact an agent or pay strangers to check my credit. Oh well, perhaps in v2? 😉

The iPad is much more suited to the pinch-enabled floor plans and viewing shots of the properties and I reckon the Findaproperty.com app fits the tablet better than the iPhone – but there are areas that perhaps having a phone you can whip out and then put away quickly would be better.

The Findaproperty.com iPad app is available for free from iTunes.
