Mac Chrome Google App Launcher available in Beta
Do you use a Mac put also want access to your Google applications? You’ll be needing this new App Launcher, then.
Google engineer, François Beaufort has posted on Google+ the announcement that a new Chrome App Launcher designed from Mac is almost here.
“Chrome Team is currently working on bringing the App Launcher on the Mac platform… You can already give it a try by running the last chromium build available at download-chromium.appspot.com with the –show-app-list switch..”
To give the new beta version a go you will need to download Chromium and then at least one app from the Chrome Web Store.
Clicking on one of those apps will open the browser windows in full with the selected app. At that point, the icon reverts to its usual purpose of bringing Chromium windows to the forefront; if you want to open other apps up, you’ll need to do so through the browser window itself.
