HP Leak New Pine Trail Processor Packing Mini 210 HD Netbook

CES 2010 is coming round the corner and a HP leak shows outline specs for 8 new machines including the upgraded Mini 210 HD netbook which is now packing the spanky new N450 Pine Trail processor.

The HP Mini 210 HD, which is to be officially announced next week has the 1.66GHz N450 Atom CPU and GMA 3150 graphics.

For those unaware of the Pine Trail processor, the new chip has the same base power as the previous Atoms with the N450 being clocked at 1.66GHz, single-core, with a 512kb cache and supports only DDR2 memory – a max of 2GB. The main thing is that the N450 is half as small as and nearly 20% more efficient than the one it replaces.

The netbook will be available in Sonoma Red, Solid Black, Silver Crystal or Pacific Blue and is priced around $330 and should appear after it goes all official at CES.
