Play Video Memo Pad from Native Union – The Tech Speech Bubble!

Looking for the tech answer to leaving messages on the fridge? Need a reminder to feed the pets? Well, check out the Play video memo pad.

It has a short-but-sweet three minutes of recording time which it saves on its ‘size isn’t important’ 256MB memory.

This means you can either record one longish time stamped message, or lots of shorter ones to play back on its 2.4in LCD screen. Think of it like video Twitter.

“The Play video memo pad brings a truly playful element into everyday life at home,” said John Brunner, managing director, Native Union. “It’s a lot more fun to leave a to-do list for your kids or a shopping list for your other half with video, but more than that, we hope that Play will encourage kids and adults alike to leave funny, heartfelt, or loving messages for each other more often. We want Play to become the first thing that people go to each day to see what fun new messages might be waiting for them.”

The Play is equipped with a magnetic back (plus magnetic wall tape) and hand strap so there’s plenty of options where to shove it – be it fridge or coat-hook.

Best of all – it’s shaped like a speech bubble!

It’s powered by three AAA batteries and should last for 40 days on standby or give three hours of video playback/recording.

You get a choice of green, pink, blue, purple, red, white and black and it is out this month from
Native Union and Amazon for £49.99.
