Now, I know that you readers of GadgetyNews enjoy the finer, gentler and more refined things in life. There are those others out there, however, that like to do some left-handed surfing; you know, look at ‘adult sites’ – NSFW things. PORN!

The thing is, if you decide to save some of that material on your computer you might think that hiding it in a Russian Doll of folders with mundane names, it will become unfindable.

This is no ordinary USB stick. This is a smut-sniffer par excellence. Its sole reason for being is to hunt down your seediest and sauciest downloads, no matter how well hidden they are.

In 2011 Paraben launched the Porn Detection Stick. This used algorithms to snoop around a computer’s entire file library in order to detect any images of an adult nature.

They have since rejigged the stick (saucy!) and now it has been retooled (Oooer!) for 2012.

The Porn Detection Stick has implemented a number of methods and algorithms to analyze each image to determine if it may be pornographic in nature. That includes those videos that you’ve hidden in the folder marked ‘homework’!

The stick’ll find videos in MOV, MP4, MPEG1 – MPEG4, ASF and AVI formats, among many others. But it doesn’t stop there.

The Porn Detection stick can pound through deleted files and monitor web activity even if the browsing history has been deleted. Sneaky!
