Pro-Ject has announced their new Artist Series special edition turntable collaboration with one of the world’s longest-running bands. After successful collaborations with The Beatles, George Harrison and Parov Stelar, amongst others, the Austrian company has revealed a new turntable design in partnership with The Rolling Stones.

The Rolling Stones Record Player is a striking collaboration between one of the world’s most iconic bands and a leading audiophile manufacturer.

Of course, the turntable is adorned with the instantly recognisable “lips” logo. By-the-way, this logo was first commissioned by lead singer Mick Jagger in 1970.

This record player is a potential collectors item, just for its cosmetic appeal alone.

However, underneath the stunning shell, there remains a high-quality turntable suited even to more expensive audio systems.

Based on the design of Pro-Ject’s own icon, the Rolling Stones Record Player has the same technical layout as the award-winning Debut III turntable.

With this you get a thick, non-resonant MDF plinth, decoupling feet, premium synchronous motor and belt-drive system. These all add up to make a stable, silent platform for your vinyl.

Finished with a sturdy metal platter and an 8.6-inch aluminium tonearm fitted with Ortofon OM 10 cartridge, this special edition vinyl spinner will certainly perform.
