LG rolls out new Watch Urbane 2 smartwatch

If you haven’t the coin to invest in Tag Heuer’s new Carrera Connect then you should check out the new LG smartwatch.

The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition will launch in the US and South Korea this month and then it will be heading to Europe, Asia and CIS regions over the following few months.

The new LG Watch Urbane claims to have the highest display resolution of any smartwatch available on the market today.

LG watch urbane 2The watch has a 1.38-inch full circle P-OLED display which packs a resolution of 480 x 480 and 348ppi – definitely not to be sniffed at.

The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition has a screen diameter of 44.5mm. The body of the watch is made of stainless-steel, with the strap constructed from a durable elastomer.

LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition comes with a brand new high capacity 570mAh battery so that will give you an improved battery life, not that the original LG Watch Urbane wasn’t already pretty darned impressive. On top of that the watch has a new ‘Power Saving’ mode that helps you get at least a day and a half of usage.

The Urbane 2nd Edition’s ambient mode can be enabled or disabled with a simple press of the crown button.

LG Watch Urbane 2nd EditionThe case sports three buttons, all on the right side of the smartwatch. These buttons provide quick access to important settings like contacts, LG Health and apps list.

I reckon this could be another winner for LG.
