MWC 2016 – LG G5 official photos
LG G5 has gone super official. After yesterdays Always On news it seems that LG would rather spill more details before revealing everything.
This latest announcement suggests that the much-rumoured LG G5 is indeed being prepared for launch.
It looks like the South Korean firm isn’t too bothered about all the usual teasers, instead decided to make LG G5 official pretty much.
The latest details revealed is the upcoming handset’s official Quick Cover case.
Like HTC’s Dot View cases, you can see through the front panel of LG’s creation, which is made from a special mesh that allows you to poke and swipe at the screen without actually flipping the case open.
There’s a little window towards the top too, which lets you peek at the time, incoming calls and notifications.
This cut-out has added weight to rumours that the LG G5 will feature an always-on display.
Previous whispers have suggested that the handset will feature a metal chassis, a 5.6-inch, QHD display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 21-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie sensor. Stick February 21st in your diaries.
