OnePlus to announce OnePlus Two mini next week?
OnePlus recently announced that their new OnePlus Two would be made available for sale on October 12th without you needing an invite – as was the way with their previous handset. News has just reached me that OnePlus are also holding a press event on the same date so is there more to come?
The company is holding a press event in India and it could either announce the rumoured smartwatch, the OnePlus Two Mini or another handset, the OnePlus X?
There has been a variety of whispers regarding the specifications of the new OnePlus One Mini, which included a MediaTek Helio X10 processor and 2GB of RAM, plus a 5 inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The handset is also rumored to come with 32GB of built in storage, plus front and rear facing cameras – the rear camera could even be loaded with a Sony IMX258 13 megapixel sensor which can record 4K Ultra HD video.
The new OnePlus One Mini could be equipped with a 3000 mAh battery, QuickCharge 2.0 and USB Type-C.
If all this pans out, the handset is expected to retail for around $250. I’ll let you know if I get any further information.
