Polk Assist smart speaker boasts Google Assistant and Chromecast
Polk Audio has announced the Polk Assist. The voice-controlled smart speaker features Polk premium sound and Google Assistant built-in for hands-free help around the house. Naturally, this includes music streaming and control of your smart home devices.
Polk Assist is a smart speaker powered by Google Assistant. Additionally, thanks to Chromecast built-in, you can group multiple Chromecast-enabled speakers and sound bars for multiroom playback. Furthermore, this ability includes streaming audio from the likes of TuneIn, Google Play Music and Spotify.
Polk Assist – simply hands-free
Moreover, set-up is as easy as plugging in the Polk Assist and downloading the free Google Home app. From here, you’re ready to start using the smart speaker.
The speakers are available in midnight black and cool grey. This means that they will easily fit in to your home style.
Finally, the Polk smart speaker is one of the first smart speakers built on certified Android Things System-on-Modules (SoMs). These all benefit from regular feature and security updates from Google.
