Peugeot Micro e-Kick – your commute’s final mile
After enjoying my time with the Emicro One scooter, I really want to take the new Peugeot Micro e-Kick out for a spin.
The Peugeot Micro e-Kick has the bragging rights to being one of the world’s lightest electric scooters at just 8.5kg.
The other interesting point to note is that it comes as standard with the Peugeot 3008 Crossover. The car is actually equipped with a specially designed docking station for the scooter in the boot.
Peugeot Micro e-Kick
Created by Micro Scooters’ Swiss engineers in collaboration with the Peugeot Design Lab, this a revolutionary way for commuters to cover the last mile of their journey. The people behind it reckon it is the perfect way to overcome parking issues in urban areas and over crowded transport links. While that might be true, it also looks fun!
The scooter can be fully charged within an hour and has a range of 12 kilometres. It is fitted with the same revolutionary motion control system as the One. This means riders can start and control their speed through their body movement. This not only helps reduce battery consumption it also allows the Peugeot Micro e-Kick to run cable free.
Furthermore, the easy-fold design makes it effortless to carry on the train, tube or bus. You can also pull along thanks to the convertible handlebar with trolley function. Simply stepping on the brake three times switches off the motor so it can be ridden as a normal scooter as well.
