First Google Chrome Zone Store – Tottenham Court Road, London
Google has launched its first Chrome Zone shop-within-a-shop on London’s Tottenham Court Road.
The long, straight road which is synonymous with tech has become the new home of Google’s first Chrome Zone and it’s nestled within a branch of Currys and PC World up the Warren Street tube end of Tottenham Court Road.
The Chrome Zone has been created to sell Google’s latest offering – Chromebooks. The area features Google’s corporate colours and, at the moment, only has the Samsung Chromebook on offer but Acer’s Chromebook could well be the next in line and join the Sammy in the CZ.
The Chrome Zone is also there in order for you to learn more about the cloud OS system as well as buying a new bit of shiny gadgety niceness 🙂
“We’ve put a great deal of thought into the design of this Chrome Zone,” announces Arvind Desikan, head of consumer marketing for Google in the UK and Ireland.
Mark Slater, category director at Dixons Retail, says that: “Initial customer response to the launch of Samsung’s Chromebook has been excellent and we are expecting a lot of customer interest and excitement now it is in-store.”
The staff in the Chrome Zone all have specialist training and will be able to assist you with any questions you may have – according to Mr Slater.
Why not drop by and have a look-see and test those Chrome Zone specialists out? 😉
