Sony Tablet S on Sale in UK Now!

Been waiting for the latest entry into the tablet battle? You’ll be glad to read that the Sony Tablet S is on sale in the UK this very day!

Sony’s 9.4-inch Tablet S is their first foray into the table world and, from the outside, I reckon they’ve done a decent job of making their Android tablet stand out.

You cannot ignore the quirky wedge-shape of the S which is designed to make it nicer to hold and better on flat surfaces as well as making a handy ramp for your Tomy GX Buggy 😛

The Tablet S is powered by the slate specific Android version 3.1 Honeycomb so say hello to tabbed browsing, and that natty holographic interface.

What will separate the Sony S from, let’s say the Samsung Galaxy Tab is that you’ll be able to play PlayStation One games at the Sony Tablet – kinda like a large, purely touchscreen Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 😉

Toddle along to PC World and pick one up for £399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only version, and Currys has the 32GB model for £479 (a 3G version is coming later).
