An Ultra HD 4K TV that is actually close to being affordable
Ultra HD 4K TV’s are packed with eyegasmic loviness, this is true. But most, if not all, are priced well out of the reach of us mortal gadgety addicts. There may be one 50-inch 4K set, however, that you might well be able to afford thanks to SEIKI.
SEIKI’s 4K TV is a 2160p 120Hz LED HDTV with 3840 x 2160 resolution. It has a 5000:1 contrast ratio, 6.5ms response time, comes with 3 HDMI ports and a VGA port.
You might not be able to watch that much 4K content right now but for around the same price as a standard 1080p screen it could be an option for braggging rights at least. It’s enough to get you pondering it as an option, surely?
So, how much does this 50-inch slice of ultra high definition visual deliciousness cost? £2,000?
Nope.
How about less than a grand? Yup, you could be the owner of a 4K TV for ‘only’ £900.
Ok, splashing 900 notes on a no-name brand TV when there’s hardly any 4K content out there may be a bit of a gamble. But, if you’re already considering a new set in this price range, it might be worth the risk.
I’ve not seen it with my own eyes so if you know if the SEIKI 4K TV is good or not, please let us all know 🙂
