Sennheiser + Freitag Urbanite headphones

Sennheiser + Freitag have buddied up to create some special edition headphones which includes some swish carry cases.

The creators of unique bags from recycled material has joined forces with audio manufacturer Sennheiser to create a limited edition range of Urbanite headphones – the F703 Sennheiser + Freitag model.

Only 1500 pairs of the Limited Edition Urbanite F703 headphones will be created and are now available in all Freitag high street stores while stocks last. The headphones feature a detachable cable with 3-button remote control as well as an integrated microphone.

As well as customised headbands with the “brand’s trademark recycled tarpaulin finish”, and each pair of cans uses an entirely unique piece of recycled material.

Sennheiser’s global design head Oliver Berger explains:

This partnership will result in a total of 1,500 headphones, all of which are available now from Freitag’s website and respective dealers. This limited edition is the perfect fusion of Sennheiser’s expertise in developing innovative audio products and Freitag’s visionary approach of creating something new and exciting through recycling.”

The special edition still delivers an intense club sound on the move – serving up massive bass but with Sennheiser’s uncompromising audio expertise ensuring excellent clarity across all frequencies.

The Urbanite’s streetwise styling comes with toughness to match. The on-ear headphones feature durable metal components that can take on the pressures of urban live, and are designed to cleverly fold away into the Freitag-designed carry case.
