Nokia 5730 Get’s Outed! XpressMusic Smartphone

Have a goosey at these “spy shots” of the new Nokia 5730 XpressMusic handset that  have found themselves all leaked online.

It looks like Nok’s next music handset will pack a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard – just like that N97 of theirs!  

Mobile Review have given it the once over and state that it’s packing in a two inch QVGA screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, EDGE data and Symbian S60.

Ok, you may have noticed the lack of 3G and the simple 128MB of memory so it’s not going to be jostling the  N97 for position – but it isn’t supposed to be a flagship blower: it’s a crossover device.

What you’re getting is the mixture of the slim size and budget price of Nokia’s XpressMusic range hooked up with the QWERTY keyboard – giving you a very keen mini-smartphone.

With Symbian S60 buzzing away inside, it’ll be able to handle all the e-mail and app duties that’re thrown at it, and at £200 for Sim-free purchase it’s not a bad fit for anyone wanting to fill in that contract renewal.

You can expand the 5730’s mind with microSD cards up to 8GB – so that should give enough storage.

There’s even rumours that the final version will include Wi-Fi.
