Well, looking at the clip below, if you’re the owner of a Gorilla Glass equipped Samsung you can and rest easy.

The alkali-aluminosilicate glass shield has become the preferred choice for Samsung and Motorola handsets as well as on Sony Bravia TVs. The glass is similar to the “helicopter windshield” used on the iPhone 4.

Although it looks great in the test you wont find me taking my Japanese chef knives to a random mobile handset anytime soon – but it’s nice to know that, should I feel so inclined all will be well.
