Skagen Falster smartwatch
Do smartwatches look too modern for your taste? Well, we have some good news for those that prefer their wearables to fuse Scandinavian minimalism with the latest tech. Skagen has launched their Falster smartwatch and it certainly looks to tick those aforementioned boxes.
Danish brand, Skagen, has recently announced the launch of its latest model, the Falster Smartwatch.
Thankfully, it is everything you would expect from the popular watch manufacturer.
Skagen Falster
The Falster is the Skagen’s first touchscreen smartwatch.
Firstly, I am really impressed how the company has managed to bridge the gap between practical gadgets and thoughtful design.
The dial is typically minimal and clean. This uncluttered display provides information in an easy and perfectly clear way.
Tech specs
Powered by Android Wear 2.0 and Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100, the watch offers plenty of features to keep Gadgety fans satisfied.
For instance, there is automatic time accuracy, activity tracking, smart notifications and voice commands. Also, you get music control and Bluetooth connectivity.
All of the functions are accessible via the touchscreen combined with the press and turn of the crown.
Additionally, a digital assistant named Dan is also conveniently included. Anyone else thinking of that Alan Partridge episode now?
Finally, Falster is compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones.
The timepiece comes with black or brown leather straps, while the mesh strap options include stainless steel and rose.

We want to take the best of what technology has to offer and create a timepiece that lives up to our belief in good design for better living. We’ve strived to create unique dials only possible in digital, proving it’s not just what’s inside the watch that counts but rather how you choose to use it,”
Price and availability
Priced between $275-$295, this Skagen Smartwatch will be available online by the end of January 2018.
