Sony SmartWatch 2 is world’s first wearable boarding pass

More wearable news as Sony has announced that it’s bringing boarding passes for flights to your wrist via the Sony SmartWatch 2.

Sony has teamed up with Spanish airline Vueling to bring you the very first wearable boarding pass.

Vueling, a Spanish airline which provides flights in Europe, will accept the digital wrist-mounted pass which will pop up on your Sony SmartWatch 2.

That means no cold panic when you realise that you forgot to print your boarding card. No more the ungraceful fumble through security juggling bags, items and devices.

This new app will make starting your journey that bit more seamless – using a 2D barcode, it puts flight information and boarding passes on your wrist.

This new app from Vueling and Sony will be one of the latest exclusive additions to SmartWatch 2’s 300+ strong application portfolio – it hits the Google Play Store from the end of this month.
