Microsoft Surface 3 tablet landing soon – will get Windows 10
Microsoft will apparently be releasing a successor to their Surface 2 tablet, the Microsoft Surface 3 tablet, although this new tablet will not come with Windows RT.
The new Microsoft Surface 3 tablet will either come with an Intel Atom or Intel Core M processor and the device will run a full version of Windows and will stand alongside the current Surface Pro 3.
The new Surface tablet is rumoured to ditch the Windows RT operating system in favour of the full Windows 8.1 experience.
The Surface 3 should be a more affordable and lower spec version of the current Surface Pro 3 and feature one of the aforementioned fanless CPUs.
The device will come with a full version of Windows in the form of Windows 8.1 and is expected to be announced some time before the Microsoft BUILD conference on April 29th, the device will be fully upgradeable to Windows 10 – unlike the older non-Pro Surfaces.
