Google Android – It’s here!

The software development kit for Google’s Android platform for mobile phones is available today for download here. The company also announced around £5 million in prizes for the best applications developed for the operating system.

Take a look at Google’s video and you may notice that it is not dissimilar to the iPhone in look but the software should work on most handsets so no need to pay almost £300 to get hardware to run it.
