Jawbone Jambox – Will Not Hang From Your Ear

Jawbone are more renowned for making some rather snazzy and top quality Bluetooth headsets for hands-free phone chat.

Well, they’ve now put some of their clever speaker tech into creating the Jawbone Jambox.

This new portable speaker weighs 12oz and measures 151mm x 57mm x 40mm and is designed by Yves Behar.

As you can see in the pictures these speakers come in a range of colours and as Jawbone is no newcomer to Bluetooth pairing, getting your device to play nicely with the Jambox should be a piece of cake.

Battery life is around 8-10 hours and re-charging is done via a micro USB cable and its wireless range is quoted to being “at least” 33 feet! In addition to being an A2DP music-maker, the Jambox is a full-duplex speakerphone with Jawbones noise-cancelling tech baked-in.

They certainly look good – until I get an ears-on test I can’t really say how they sound.

It’ll cost $199 though.
