iPhone 5 Tipped to Have Huge 4.6-Inch Retina Display
There are those that say that size isn’t important but the current trend lead by the Samsung Galaxy Note and LG Optimus Vu seems to have got Apple looking to super-size the next iPhone.
So far I have read that the iPhone 5 will sport a display ranging from 4 to 4.3-inches but the latest report is that the new iPhone will be equipped with a 4.6-inch Retina Display.
The unnamed sources are saying that we should expect a quite special 4.6-inch Retina Display on the new iPhone, which will be pushed along by the same A5X chip that’s in Apple’s new iPad but all accounts.
I have to admit that, after playing with the HTC Sensation XL, going back to my iPhone 4’s 3.5-inch screen after the XL’s 4.7 display did feel a little claustrophobic.
The shadowy Korean tipster is also giving the nod for the Apple iPhone 5 to launch in Q2 – let’s call that June for the sake of argument 😉
