I wonder if the designers are designing them like that subconciously or that they’re designing these robots to be familiar (in a pop-culture kinda way) so as not to freak people out?

That means soon we’ll be getting T1s, T2s, etc ~gulp!~ or perhaps annoying driods like C3PO!
