Well, I’ve been using my Barricade for a month now and there are no such issues… I charge it for two hours when it is out of battery and it gives me about 8 hours of full volume performance. This is one of the best speaker I’ve ever used.
I’d recommend you to get your Barricade replaced if it is still under warranty.

That sounds like a real P.I.T.A.

I only had the single speaker for a couple of weeks to test and review. It is a shame that they turn out to be so glitchy.

I would stay away from this product. I’ve had two of them and for the past year and they go from working great to glitchy. One glitchy problem is that they sometime play out of phase, almost as if it can’t equalize the stereo signal into the one speaker. It’s also glitchy with my Macs. I usually have to make sure that my music player is completely closed before I connect it. Otherwise, the player won’t play. Also, the connection will be fine, then as soon as I open the player the connection is lost causing me to have to close down the player, reconnect the speaker, then re open the player. Sometimes it’s taken 2 or 3 tries for the connection to become stable.
The store warranty has passed and it’ll probably cost more almost as much to mail them to the states back to Scull Candy for repair or replacement.

I think I’ll invest in a better product.
