RipNAS – CD Ripping SSD Networked Storage
The RipNAS family has grown by two with the introduction of Statement SSD and Statement HDD.
The former is the world’s first SSD based CD ripping NAS device.
This is a totally silent silver box that’s based on the Windows Home Server OS and handles a load of things such as CD ripping, media streaming and networked file storage.
The brain is a dual-core Atom CPU with 2 GB of RAM and connecting is taken care of by four USB 2.0 ports.
The statement SSD arrives in a 500 GB configuration while the statement HDD holds 3TB of space.
As for the price – I’m guessing ‘not cheap’ wont be far wrong.
