Nokia 9 specifications leaked
While everyone was getting the retro fuzzies about the reissue of the 3310 at MWC 2017, it’s the new Nokias that should be focused on. We now have some details on the new Nokia 9.
Nokia used to be one of my go-to brands when it came to well-built, well-spec’d phones.
I for one are hoping those days return. Could the resurgence be spearheaded by the Nokia 9 handset?
Nokia 9 specifications
It looks like at least some of the new Nok specifications have been leaked.
Word is that it will apparently come with a 5.5-inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Other rumored specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 6GB of RAM.
The handset will come with a choice of either 64GB or 128GB of storage. You can add to this via the trust microSD card slot.
The Nokia 9 will feature high end cameras too. On the front there will be a 12 megapixel selfie-snapper whilst at the rear will be dual 22 megapixel cameras with Carl Zeiss optics.
Keeping things going will be down to the 3800 mAh battery and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.
The device will feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and it will come with Android 7.1.2 Nougat.
More details
The Nokia 9 will pack Nokia OZO audio. This will enhance the audio quality, making it the first smartphone to carry this feature.
There are rumbles that the Nokia 9 might actually land as the Nokia C9. That’s yet to be confirmed, as with the rest of the details here.
All-in-all, this sounds like a flagship device from Nokia. This could well be the (re)making of Nokia. The Nokia 6 seems to have proved popular, so they should be quietly confident.
What do you think?
