Asus Eee Pad Slider Convertible Tablet gets Delayed, Bigger Memory and Release Date

There’s bad news and good news about Asus’s cool-looking Eee Pad Slider – but every cloud has a silver lining right? 😉

First the bad news is that the Honeycomb equipped convertible tablet will be delayed until Autumn.

Booooooooo!

But dry your eyes my gadgety friends – the good news is that it sounds as though Asus are kicking the 16GB version to the curb and will instead be launching the Slider with 32GB of storage and that you only have to wait until September.

YAY! 🙂

Word on the street is that this 32GB Asus Eee Pad Slider will cost around €499 and that a 3G version will follow-up sometime in 2012.

The Asus Eee Pad Slider is equipped with a 10.1 touchscreen and sports a slidey-out QWERTY keyboard – hence its slippery name.

I hope I get to try one of these out!
