Samsung Offer a Galaxy of Choice – Ace, Fit, Gio and Mini
Can’t wait to see what new phones Mobile World Congress brings?
Well, neither can Samsung so they’ve gone and unveiled four brand new Galaxy blowers ahead of the Barcelona bash.
Welcome Ace, Fit, Gio and mini to the G-Fam! 🙂
Following in the footsteps of Sammy’s Galaxy S the four newcomers will all wear the Galaxy badge and be running Android 2.2, FroYo clothed in Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
Who other than Ace will be leading the charge? Ace is rocking a 3.5-inch HVGA with a 800MHz processor in the engine-room. In the camera department Ace owns a 5-megapixel camera. If you squint you could almost detect some iPhone styling in the shape.
Gio joins Ace with the 800MHz processor but Galaxy Gio will have a 3.2-inch HVGA display and 3MP snapper.
Running 600MHz processors are the Galaxy mini and Galaxy Fit.
mini is designed to appeal to the first time smartphone, trendy and sociable youngster demographic and is loaded with a 3.14-inch display, 3-megapixel cam and flashy colour stripe!
The Fit is the one looking for social business types that require a 5MP sensor matched with a 3.31-inch screen.
Of course Samsung will be flashing this lot of at MWC 2011 in Barcelona with UK release dates of March for Ace, Fit and mini with Gio following a month later.
Obviously it’s a tad early for Sammy to let me know what they’ll cost.
