The HTC One M10 has just gone all official thanks to a ‘leak’ by… errr… HTC.

Have you had enough of smartphones this week thanks to Mobile World Congress? Well, HTC is hoping not as they’ve just slipped out a little teaser.

HTC’s long-rumored One M10 flagship phone is apparently pencilled in for a March launch so it makes sense that they would start to drip feed the One-lovers, such as myself, with tasty little tidbits.

So, let’s piece this all together then, starting with the “power of 10”. To me this suggests that the handset could launch as the One M10 – or is the “power of” bit there to tell us that this new smartphone as the power of the M10 but it goes by another name?

As for the hardware itself, there’s very little on show here.

What is confirmed by this official snap is the leaked photo that popped up earlier this week showing that the HTC One M10’s back is surrounded by quite a prominently chamfered edge.

The heavy-bevel look moves away from the curved-edge designs that I have come to know and love on the M7, M8 and M9.

I am sure that there’ll be more leaks, official and otherwise, over the coming weeks so stay tuned.
