Bang and Olufsen presents the Cool Modern Collection
Bang & Olufsen are offering something special in time for the holiday season. The new Cool Modern Collection is sure to brighten up the wintery nights thanks to its gleaming colours.
Most Hi-Fi components follow the black or silver paths of design. The Cool Modern Collection introduces an entirely new style choice to the Bang & Olufsen universe. This line comprises its most popular sound systems, speakers and televisions but draped in warm colours.
The new range combines the iconic design and cool Nordic minimalism of Bang & Olufsen with gleaming, brass-toned aluminium structures. This is complimented by dark beautiful textile colours to create a warm polished ambience.
New textile colours
The addition of bold colours to the stringent architectural form is inspired by both contemporary interior trends and the creative Art Deco movement of the ’20s. The 1920s also happens to be when Bang & Olufsen was founded.
The Cool Modern Collection fuses technology and decorative art in a celebration of colourful living. You will now find two new jewel-toned fabric colours for speaker covers: Purple Heart delivers a warm nuance of aged wine and dark heather, while Parisian Night suggests a velvety deep blue night sky.
As part of the Cool Modern Collection, BeoLab 18 and BeoVision 14 are fitted with smoked oak lamellas on the speaker covers. They are paired with new matte black stands and wall mounts to ensure a cohesive interaction with the soft glow from the new brass-toned frame.
The Cool Modern Collection
The new brass colour toned collection includes a wide selection of products, including the new BeoVision 14 television, the wireless music system BeoSound 35, the iconic BeoLab 18 speakers, and the wireless speaker system BeoSound 1 and BeoSound 2 (available in March 2017).

B&O Cool Modern price and availability
Cool Modern Collection is a permanent collection commemorating B&O’s 91st anniversary and will be available in the Bang & Olufsen retail stores as of November 17th 2016.
